At Onyx Athletics, we provide high-quality 1-on-1 and small group soccer training focused on player development, confidence, and love for the game. Founded by Tanner Law, a dedicated coach with nearly a decade of experience training players at Flight 1 to ECNL, MLS Next, and the professional ranks. Tanner currently coaches with club team LASC and LA Galaxy Youth Development and has a deep understanding of the modern game. As a former player for Strikers FC Academy and FC Premier, he brings both competitive playing experience and a proven track record in youth development.

I like training with Tanner because we got to work on tight compact spaces and touches. And shooting drills.

My son loves training with Coach Tanner. Any chance we get we are training with him. He makes it fun, Tanner has been such a great asset on my son's football journey. Tanner engages my son and challenges him.

We haven’t made it out to the small groups yet but Coach Tanner was my daughter’s club team coach and she adored him. She went from flight 3 to a top 10 flight 1 team in SoCal under his coaching. He kept training fun while learning! We plan to join sessions soon.

We’ve had such a positive experience with the small group soccer training! The coach does an incredible job working with kids of all ages he’s patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about what he does. Both my 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter have grown so much in their confidence and skills. It’s amazing to see how he connects with them and keeps them engaged while also teaching the fundamentals. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and heart he puts into every session. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality training for young kids

My son has been attending small group soccer training, and we couldn’t be happier! The coach is excellent — professional, patient, and truly passionate about helping the kids grow.
